NOTE: There are no shortcuts in this course. Don't come to this class expecting to briefly skim over the materials, take an exam, and then just shoot a qualifier. Oregon Firearms Academy administers this course strictly in accordance to DPSST standards and rules. All students will receive a minimum of 100% of the classroom materials and range training as prescribed by DPSST - NO EXCEPTIONS REGARDLESS OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING! Previous Law Enforcement, Military and/or Security training or experience makes no difference - we will cover all the material as mandated by DPSST.

NOTE #2: We live in Oregon. As an Armed Security Professional you'll work in Oregon. Oregon has a tendency to rain. As an Armed Security Professional you'll probably work in the rain. So . . . you're going to train outdoors . . . Rain or shine. Therefore, dress appropriately, as we will be training outdoors. During your training we will give regular breaks. We also have a heated facility in order for you to store your gear and to come in from the elements. "We aren't training unless it's raining!"
