Low Light/Night Fire Handgun Course
Can you place accurate hits in subdued light?

$200 per person
11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Basic Handgun Safety Course and Defensive Handgun 1 or their equivalent

After eight-hours of this intermediate level course you can! The majority of defensive confrontations take place during hours of low light or darkness. Yet most individuals who use a handgun for self-defense, in their home, automobile, or carried concealed, have never shot at night much less learned and practice the critical skills necessary to be successful in a low light lethal confrontation. Well, now you can. Oregon Firearm's Academy's Low Light/Night Fire Handgun course will give you the knowledge and skills to become successful in both illuminated and non- illuminated situations! This course is conducted in late afternoon, early evening and nighttime darkness conditions. You'll learn how to place accurate hits using your flashlight in no light, intermittent light, and illuminated light conditions. Introduction to flashlight and night fire techniques will be covered thoroughly.

Equipment Necessary for each individual attending:

      • A safe reliable revolver or pistol
      • Sturdy holster, magazine pouch, & belt
      • At least 500 rounds of reliable ammunition
      • Minimum of 2 magazines or speedloaders
      • Clear eye protection for evening shooting
      • High Intensity Flashlight -- call for recommendations
      • Hearing protection
      • Ball Cap with bill
      • Dinner, snacks, & beverages
      • Dress for outdoors in November
