Utah Concealed Firearms Course- 4 to 4.5 hours
Meets the requirement for obtaining an Utah Concealed Firearms Permit

Course taught by State of Utah Certified Firearms Instructors. Once the course is completed you will have met the training requirement for applying for an Utah Concealed Firearms Permit. Any U.S. citizen may obtain a Utah concealed firearm permit, providing they meet the minimum qualifications. The qualifications are found at this link.

With this permit you can legally carry in 29 + states including Washington State.
Not valid in Oregon. You must attend this course in its entirety regardless of your
previous training.

Tactical Carbine/Rifle Course - 16 hours
Two days of comprehensive training on defensive carbine/rifle skills, techniques, and tactics. Course will include shooting from contact distance out to 25 yards. An excellent course for those serious about using a carbine or rifle for self defense or for law enforcement and corrections officers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Restrictions: Oregon Firearms Academy LLC reserves the right to limit enrollment to our courses. If you have been convicted of any felony, or any crime which prohibits you from purchasing, owning, or possessing a firearm and/or found mentally ill which prohibits you from legally purchasing, owning, or possessing a firearm then you are unable to attend any of these courses.

Therefore, with the exception of the Basic Handgun Safety, The Utah Concealed Firearms, & Armed Security courses, Oregon Firearms Academy LLC requires each student to photocopy and submit with their registration a valid State Issued Concealed Handgun Permit/License, Law Enforcement Identification, current Military Identification, or DPSST Armed Security Identification for all courses except Basic Handgun Safety, Utah Concealed Firearm Course, or Armed Security. If you do not have a concealed handgun license then we can refer you to a service provider who will conduct a background check for a nominal fee. This background check can work in lieu of a concealed handgun license.

Please understand due to the nature of the material presented it is necessary to limit instruction to those individuals who can be entrusted with police based defensive instruction. If you do not have a Conceal Handgun Permit/License, we will accept a police background check, or a letter on official letterhead from a Law Enforcement Agency, or from an Attorney, DA, or Judge attesting that you have no felony record, mental history, or any background preventing you from owning, training, possessing, or using a firearm.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If for any reason you cannot attend class or need to transfer to another class, you will receive a full refund if you cancel/transfer 10 days prior to the scheduled class. Please call 541-451-5532 in order to cancel or transfer. If you cancel/transfer less than 10 days prior to the scheduled class, 100% of your tuition is nonrefundable. All Guest Instructor courses are nonrefundable. All NSF checks will be charged an additional $25 service fee.
