Oregon Firearms Academy LLC is one of the northwest's premier small arms, tactics, & self defense schools for law abiding citizens, law enforcement, corrections, parole & probation, and armed security officers as well as private investigators. Our student's experience range from seasoned law enforcement firearm's instructors to individuals who are inexperienced with firearms and self defense tactics.

Northwest area officers and private citizens are able to attend the same level and quality of training as offered by other nationally recognized schools located in the Midwest or East Coast without incurring the high cost of travel.

OFA's staff is a blend of high ranking, law enforcement instructors and highly qualified instructors from the private sector with over 35 years of combined experience in teaching small arms and tactics. Several staff members are senior firearm instructors at the Oregon Police Academy, a mid-valley Sheriff's Office, a dual-county SWAT Team, and a SERT (Special Emergency Response Team) team.

Our staff's knowledge and range of experiences include a high ranking SWAT Team Member, a Doctor, an Attorney who is a former Prosecutor, and a Gunsmith/Armorer. Where else can you go to get this depth of knowledge about tactics, how the human anatomy operates under stress, the law & use of force, and the mechanics/technology of firearms?

Also, all of the staff are adjunct firearm instructors for Clint Smith's International Training Consultants, John Farnam's Defensive Training International and firearm's instructors at Lane & Linn-Benton Community Colleges. Recently, the OFA staff was honored for our contribution in advancing the profession by being recognized in the acknowledgments page in John. Farnam's latest book entitled The Farnam Method of Defensive Handgunning and Vicki Farnam's new book on Teaching Women How to Shoot.
